Even though I was the only passenger booked on the late Sunday afternoon cruise, the captain and his crew took the decision to sail and I was treated to a similar wonderful cruise on the Loch that I had last taken over a quarter of a century ago. It revived old memories and I was so grateful that I could go out on my own and enjoy the splendour of the Loch and it's surrounds.

A great river cruise. Very comfortable and we had wonderful weather which made the cruise even better. Top tip for futures travellers, sit on the left hand side of the boat. When sat on the right, you are slightly limited as to what you can see relating to what the commentary is saying. We didn’t mind this as a family as we just enjoyed seeing everything but for others this might frustrate.

Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise on Loch Lomond. We booked an hour slot as the weather wasn’t particularly great. Raining in August. We had the option of sitting on the upper deck which has a canopy or the deck below inside. They serve drinks at a bar and have a selection of coffees. The commentary on the trip was very informative as it points out areas of interest and historical facts. We would definitely book again when the weather is better. Perhaps the evening cruise? The panoramic windows are great inside to take the views in. We finished off our day trip at the Tullie restaurant and bar just opposite which I can also highly recommend.
