It was really a fantastic day trip. We are first to Windsor Castle. Our Guida Anna gave us the tip to go to St. George Chapel, which was very impressive. After that we went to Salisbury Cathedral where you can also see an original of the Magna Carta which was really interesting. Third stop was Stonehenge, my highlight. Here the bus transfer from the visitor center is recommended, as it saves some time and you have more time at the stones. The last stop was Bath, where our guide even gave us a little tour of the city and we had some free time. The important thing is: you don't have that much time everywhere, but enough to take lots of impressions with you everywhere. And it's best to take some provisions with you, then you save time because you can eat on the bus.

It was a good trip, but I would change the program. In Windsor time was short, one could spend more than 50 minutes there. Salisbury and Stonehenge were fine. Bath shouldn't be on the itinerary: not worth that much for a 40 minute walk. The city is nice, you should also visit another place nearby and that would be ok. Our guide Ana told us a lot and Mike drove very well.

Really enjoyed our day 'out in the country' visiting Windsor Castle, Salisbury, Stonehenge and Bath. It is definitely a long day, but we only had 1 day in our itinerary to see as much as we could outside of London so we decided to go for it. If you like to linger and read plaques and things like that, this might not be the tour for you. But, if you want to get a nice sampling of these 4 destinations, stroll around a bit and take in the sights, it is perfect. We had about 60-90 minutes at each locations which was just about perfect for our taste. The box lunch was a nice addition (and not as bad as described as long as you're realistic about what you're getting) and saved time from trying to find lunch. We also brought own snacks since it is a 12 hour day. Our guide, Dominic, was great and pointed out many sites and historical facts along the way. For price and what you get, I would definitely say it was worth it and we had a nice day out of town. I recommend.
