Spend your day out in the sun, cruising around the islands on a 35-foot catamaran sailboat. Sail across the clear blue waters of the Sea of Cortez watching for whales, dolphins and turtles on your way to the beautiful islands of Loreto. Learn sailing basics if the weather’s right, and learn about the local wildlife from your guide.   After arriving at the bay, get ready to dive in for a snorkeling adventure. The crystal-clear waters offer excellent visibility of the underwater world. Or, if you'd prefer, go kayaking around the islands and enjoy the views of the islands. After lunch and snacks, turn up the reggae and Latin music while you play games aboard the boat. Enjoy the open bar while cruising back towards the Puerto Escondido Marina. Feel the wind in your hair as the sailboat dashes along the water. Perfect for families or groups of friends, don’t miss this relaxing and fun day out on the water.

From Loreto: Coronado Island Snorkel & Lunch Cruise

2. From Loreto: Coronado Island Snorkel & Lunch Cruise

Located near Loreto, Baja California Sur, Coronado Island is home to great snorkel spots, white sand beaches, and a sea lion colony. Come and join a professional guide who knows the history and wildlife of this island and is ready to share it with you. A paradise for snorkelers, the turquoise waters around the island offer outstanding visibility, especially for those wishing to explore the sea bottom. The island itself is covered with rocky crags, except for the southeast corner, and becomes a marine turtle sanctuary at certain times of the year when the females come to the beaches to lay their eggs.   If you prefer to stroll around the island instead of relaxing under a beach palapa, you’ll find numerous examples of local animals and plants. This 3-hour adventure doesn’t just go to the beach like most local boats: you’ll go for a lap around the island to see all the wildlife, including the sea lion colony, and then take time on the beach to snorkel and sunbathe. Snorkeling gear, a picnic sandwich lunch, and refreshments (beers, soda, water) are al included.

What people are saying about Loreto, Mexico

Coronado Island is beautiful, our captain was very nice, he had a lot of knowledge which he shared with us, he took us to see some dolphins, he told us about the history of the island, and when we were on the island to snorkel he took us to a very beautiful side where we could have some privacy. It is nice to know that this area of nature is very well cared for and protected. The tour is very worthwhile and is highly recommended. Thanks for everything! oh! And thanks for taking care of my shirt :)

Wonderful sailor and snorkeling trip for family of 15 (3 generations)! Diana and Chalio were fantastic guides and friendly hosts. We swam with dolphins, snorkeled at Honeymoon Cove, ate some delicious snacks, and drank some delicious margaritas. To top it off, we watched several whales breaching on the way back to the marina!

All good except that in the tour it was supposed to be snorkeling and kayaking but it was only snorkeling, if they are not going to fulfill it as specified, they should notify thanks.

Great trip. Lovely clean boat. Fun and knowledgeable crew. Nice food and drinks. Lots of dolphins!!!! Lovely bays for snorkeling & swimming. Good music. All round a super fun day.

It was an incredible adventure. We saw a lot of dolphins. I felt very like. For sure, I recommend this tour to everyone.
