Always under the watchful eye of the friendly assistants, the children prepare and make cakes, choosing their preferred flavors for the filling. We had an amazing and yummy evening at Monica and Paolos home. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We cooked in Monicas outdoor kitchen, and learned so much about using different kinds of flour, how to source best organic ingredients, and of course how to make the pasta and tiramisu. Monica goes beyond teaching what is described, it feels like cooking and eating with family in the family home! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience ❤️
We were accompanied by Anna who, with her irony and competence, made the experience both educational and fun. Visiting Lucca was instructive and gave us an overview that we will not fail to explore on other occasions. Visit to be recommended for people of all ages who have an interest in living for a few hours in a bygone era.
Highly recommend! Our kids (8 and 5) were absolutely engaged the whole time. Our guide Lucia, who was born in Lucca had little activities for them to do before each sight along the way and present the tour to interest and engage the children. They LOVED it!
This was lots of fun. A very authentic experience learning to cook with Sylvia in her own apartment and cooking with fresh ingredients. The food was delicious and the wine was great too. Sylvia also have us some great tips on local places to eat.
