Rent a bike for the day and discover the main monuments without the stress of planning. Pedal at your own pace as you explore the city walls and see landmark attractions such as the Basilica of San Frediano. Continue to Piazza dell'Anfiteatro to look at the basilica church of San Michele in Foro. Cycle to Piazza Napoleone and Piazza del Giglio, where highlights include the historic Teatro del Giglio. Great bikes!

The bikes were in great condition although I will say that not everyone's bell worked. We (a party of 5) had no trouble getting the right size bikes for a comfortable ride. Each had a basket and a lock. It was a lot of fun cycling the walls. It was very crowded but worth it! Three hours went by very quickly.

The guy who gave us the bikes was abrupt and impatient and seemed in a hurry to return to his laptop. A little customer service would not have gone astray. However, the bikes were good and self guided tour was really lovely- Lucca is well worth a visit and the bike option a must.
