Enjoy a scenic cruise on the Nile River from Luxor. Head toward the Dendera Temple Complex and take a tour of the Temple of Goddess Hathor, one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. On board, you can enjoy a buffet lunch and a coffee break, and make use of the spacious facilities. After arriving at the meeting point, board the Lotus ship. Originally built in Cairo in 1989, it was renovated in 2022 and includes an onboard bar, disco, changing rooms, swimming pool, and restaurant. Make yourself comfortable before setting sail toward the Dendera. Take in the sights along the river, including Luxor's historic monuments and the surrounding scenery. Lunch will be served on the way to the Dendera Temple Complex. Upon arrival, take a guided tour of the Temple of Goddess Hathor and learn more about its history. On the return journey, there will be a scheduled coffee break. Take the time to sunbathe, jump in the water for a swim, or make the most of the onboard facilities before arriving back in Luxor.

Esna was formerly part of the modern Qena Governorate. While Esna is popularly known for it’s Temple of Khnum, this farming town also has a number of other charming properties to explore. Esna is home to many Pharaonic treasures such as the Temple of Esna, dedicated to the worship of the gods Khnum, Menhit, Nebtu, Heka, and Neith. Along the waterfront of Esna Temple are the remains of several 19th-century houses with traditional Islamic architectural elements. Continue wandering north of the temple to explore ancient roadside inns like Wikalat Al Gidawi. Days 3 and 4 of the cruise take you to Luxor.
