Fantastic tour! By pure chance, I was the only English speaking customer on the Retiro Park portion. Benny was a legend taking me through the tour as normal and answering any additional questions I had. I'm really glad I did the tour, because I learned so much about the park that I would never have known if I went in and just stared at the pretty landscape. The Royal Palace portion was very well organised and Benny's commentary was fantastic. I again learned so much and even had a few laughs. Well worth doing guided tours for both of these places.

The tour of the palace was great and the guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the time we spent touring the palace. However the tapas (being an optional addition) was done in between the palace and the Retiro park tour. It was a little inconvenient for the people who did not choose to do the tapas part because the guide told us to meet at the park entrance at a certain time. It wouldn’t have been a problem had I known to make arrangements for lunch before hand, but we didn’t so we were kinda left waiting around for the group to finish so we could meet at the park.

The guide was nice and competent. She gave us a lot of details about the rooms of the Royal Palace, which is definitely worth the visit. We also had a nice tour inside the park, and the guide gave us historical information on the different attractions within the park. I recommend this guided tour.
