Alicia was our tour guide for our walking tour around Ronda, and she could not have been more awesome! We loved her!! She was so sweet and patient, and suggested the best routes for the best sights and views that could also accommodate my 80 year old father who has severe mobility issues. She was very knowledgeable about Ronda, having grown up there, and her English was awesome, from having lived in England for about 6 years. She also new we were avid photographers, so she took us to the best spots for wonderful photos, all while explaining the history and current culture of the area. We would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting a perfect few hours in Ronda!

A private tour at your own pace and time is the absolute way to go.

Our guide was outstanding and the best tour of the week. It started out with being picked-up by our guide and a driver right at the condo we rented. This is in comparison to the two hours we road around on a tour bus picking up other passengers when we went to Cordoba (and the two hours dropping everyone off). We had a lovely conversation on the way to Rhonda. We got to avoid the big tour groups and got to go into areas where they couldn't (such as the rooftop of a church with incredible views. We were able to have discussions with him about the little details. We got to go at our own pace and linger where we wanted. We learned not only the cold history facts, but about the culture as well. He was so friendly. He also made sure we had some free time. If you can afford it, go with a private tour. Well worth it.

Amazing view of this cliff-side city, lots of charm

From Malaga, it takes 1h30 of travel in a comfortable and air-conditioned mini bus: we took the opportunity to ask various questions to our guide who made us discover the history and landscapes of Andalusia. With the agency, we decided the points of interest that we wanted to see and thus have a personalized tour: view of the gorge, the Pont Neuf, visit the Arab baths, crossing the city through the typical streets and visit arenas. Thank you to our guide Rocio (speaking French and English) for the little surprise show in the arena by involving our children! Isabel from the agency was perfect to organize the day, the place of appointment and ensure that we had all the information before the tour. Small downside: the duration of the ride a bit short when there is a round trip. So we had to walk at a fast pace that does not invite strolling or buying souvenirs ... but Ronda is worth the detour!
