Highly recommend, great way to see the city. The staff are friendly & helpful, buses go regularly throughout summer months for example we missed the bus when leaving the castle and had less than 15mins to wait for another. Good recommendations of where to eat and shop. We started later in the day 3pm, still saw lots and did the whole tour but would recommend starting earlier to allow yourself more time to hop off and wander more.

Touristic bus does not stop at all cruise piers. Take a shuttle to the main fort / cathedral. Touristic bus stop there. We bought online but you can buy tickets on bus. About 20€ each person for 24 hrs. Bus takes you to every tourist destination. Great views from Bellver Castle. The marina area is huge and beautiful. We had no issues with pickpockets/safety. As a matter of fact we left an iPhone on the bus seat and the workers on the buses helped get it back to us. Have patience when waiting, bus will come. We sat up top most of the time. Best views but some buses had no roof so watch tree branches and rain.

The stops are not clearly visible or are not marked in red, so that you can immediately see that the bus stops there. We are e.g. B. boarded at stop 3 Ramblas and there it was not recognizable at all. So please note that the buses stop at normal bus stops !!!
