Your adventure starts at your hotel at 8:00AM, from where you will take to the road. You will drive north for about 1.5 hours, after which you will eventually arrive to the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo. Once your reach the Iracema Park, you will start a 20-minute jungle walk to reach a breath taking scenery while also developing an understanding of the Amazon Jungle. During your hike, walk through one of the most beautiful grottos in Brazil that was the setting for many films and documentaries and see the fauna and flora of this remarkable region. Enjoy a relaxing swim at a big and beautiful waterfall, visit the grottos, and see the Amazon jungle. Following your cave exploration, you will visit a restaurant by the rapids of Urubuí where you will enjoy a lunch consisting of delicious fish and other delicacies from the region. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a refreshing break at the Sanctuary Waterfall until it is eventually time to head back to Manaus. You will later arrive back to your hotel at around 5:00PM.

2. Manaus: Amazon Tour at Juma Floating Lodge 2,3,4 or 5-Day

Day One: At 8:00 AM you are transferred from your hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat takes tourists to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Rio Negro and Solimões River meet. From there you are taken to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões River. The excursion continues by car (van) for about one hour to Mamori River.  A final trip by speedboat takes you to the lodge, arriving there at approximately 11:30 AM. At 3:00 PM the activities begin. Leave the lodge by canoe for dolphin and bird watching, piranha fishing, and end the day watching a spectacular sunset around 6:30 PM, and then head back to the lodge for dinner. At night you will enjoy a thrilling experience of Cayman spotting. Day two: At 5:30 AM, you are taken by canoe to watch the sunrise of a new day in the Amazon rainforest. Return to the lodge around 7:00 AM for breakfast. Shortly after, you will do a jungle trek that takes up the rest of the morning. During the walk, much is learned about medicinal plants, trees, insects such as spiders and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys. If the 2-day option is booked, after lunch, return to Manaus at about 1:30 PM, arriving there at about 4:30 PM. If the 3, 4 or 5-day option is booked, the afternoon activity starts at 3:00 PM. A canoeing adventure in the flooded forest and small channels. Spend some hours quietly passing through the exuberant Amazon jungle while observing the flora and fauna explained to you by native guides. After dinner, go out on a motorized boat for the Night Safari, where there will be a good chance to spot some wildlife along the river and small channels in the Amazon. Day Three: From 8:00 AM-11:00 AM, visit the home of a local family to learn about their simple but fantastic way of life in the forest. Return to the lodge for lunch, if the 3-day option is booked, and depart for Manaus at approximately 1:30 PM, arriving at approximately 4:30 PM. If the 4 or 5-day option is booked, after lunch, take the chance to explore the small channels and spot some birds, monkeys, Caymans, and dolphins. Optionally, take the chance to learn about the nocturnal life by staying overnight in the forest, with a chance of spearfishing. Day four: Learn survival techniques and plenty of facts about the forest. Have the opportunity to spearfish, trek, and canoe. Return to the lodge, where lunch is served. If the 4-day option is booked, leave for Manaus after lunch, and arrive at around 4:30 PM. If the 5-day option is booked, prepare yourself to camp out in the woods and spend the night in the forest escorted by a professional guide. Day five: Return to the lodge at around 11:00 AM. After enjoying lunch, leave the lodge and head back to Manaus.

Discover the Amazon Rainforest by staying at Amazon Boto Lodge, a Jungle Lodge with all activities and meals included. The lodge is located 120 kilometers south of Manaus in the lake Juma, which is an area surrounded by a beautiful virgin forest. The lodge was built on stilts in an isolated area in the jungle with a view to the lake and jungle. The lodge does not disrupt the natural environment, which is important for forest conservation. Stay in private suites with air-conditioning and bathrooms. The Lodge is a simple and clean place, perfect for small groups interested in exploring the Amazon Jungle. You won't be overrun by guests: the Lodge hosts no more than 18 persons a time. Lunch and dinner are generally regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables, and fruits. At breakfasts, enjoy bread, cheese, eggs, coffee, milk, juice, tea, and fruit. Day 1: At 8:00 AM, you’ll be transferred from your hotel to the Caesa port where a speedboat will take you to the “meeting of the waters”, the point where the Rio Negro and Solimões River meet.
