8. Krakow: River Cruise and Wieliczka Salt Mine Group Tour
Relax on the Vistula River on a modern boat and admire many of Krakow's most beautiful attractions along the way. A heated deck and comfortable leather sofas will make you feel at home even on cold days. On warmer days, we invite you to the upper platform to enjoy the beautiful views.
Hear the history of Krakow from a modern boat sound system and watch a multimedia presentation on a 50-inch screen. Looking at Krakow from the riverside, notice such monuments as Defensive Walls of Wawel with a panorama of the Royal Castle, the Cathedral, the silhouette of a dragon, and more.
Then, change to the bus and drive to Wieliczka - a small town near Krakow, where one of the largest ancient salt mines in Europe is located, surviving since the 13th century. The Salt Mine in Wieliczka is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Tour the one-of-a-kind Church of St. Kinga, the patron saint of miners. The underground church is richly decorated with chandeliers, carvings, and statues of saints carved out of salt.
