The service was very good, especially handling our check-in to the boat, because my mother and I arrived half an hour earlier and they offered a complementary soft drink. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for this experience.

Only an hour’s ferry ride from the city center, the Princes’ Islands consist of 9 small islands that will transport you back in time and away from hectic city life. Spend a day exploring 2 of these islands, Heybeliada and Buyuk Ada, to gain insight into a multicultural society in modern Turkey, akin to the multicultural society that existed here during the Ottoman Empire. Start with a cruise over the Marmara Sea to Heybeliada for a charming tour by horse-drawn carriage. Ride through the pine forests next to picturesque bays and past old villas.   Then, take a ferry over to the largest island, Buyuk Ada, and have lunch in a seaside restaurant. Spend the afternoon enjoying the cheerful local life near the village square. Admire the well preserved Victorian-era cottages that are covered in colorful flowers all summer.

We were picked up at the hotel, walked around the Spice Market before getting on the ferry to the smaller island. We walked around, drank some tea and then took the ferry to the large island. We rode an electric golf cart on a tour of the island, and ate fish by the seaside. There was nice shopping and we enjoyed some delicious ice cream and coffee before getting on the ferry back to the city. A van drove us back to the hotel. Sulaiman was an excellent tour guide and companion for the trip.

What people are saying about Marmara Region

We were super satisfied and can only recommend the transfer. All information about the meeting point was sent to us one day before arrival at the airport. The driver was on time at the agreed meeting point and the drive to the hotel was super relaxed! We were very satisfied and have now also booked the return trip here! I can only recommend it!

we made the islands on foot because we did not want to take a carriage the poor horses seemed to exhaust. we have to eat in a restaurant by the sea. you have to take whatever you want because each time the waiter wanted to add something to us. eat we are too watchful by the server s is a bit annoying.

I liked the trip, we went only to Buyukada. In January there are few people, there are no queues, the views are wonderful. Dress warmly or take blankets, it is very cold on the ferry. I advise you to take an early ferry to stay longer on the island.

The service was very good, especially handling our check-in to the boat, because my mother and I arrived half an hour earlier and they offered a complementary soft drink. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for this experience.

Excellent service, the day before my arrival in Istanbul I received the information on how to find them right at the exit. Tomo was very good, the very nice and polite driver left me at the door of my hotel. The luxury car!
