Full description
• Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi n'Tichka - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley Get picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech in the morning. Begin your journey to the Dades Gorges via the Tizi n'Tichka Atlas pass. Take in panoramic views across the mountains and traditional High Atlas Berber villages before arrival at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. After exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoy lunch in Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate, where you'll visit Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Cinema Studios. Continue to Dades Gorges though Roses and Dades Valley. Settle in for the night at a riad/hotel in Dades Gorges.  • Day 2: Dades Gorges - Tenghir - Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Merzouga  After breakfast, depart for the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, and you’ll pass through Todra Gorges, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. Continue to a hotel in Merzouga. After relaxing for a while, take enough luggage for one night with you on a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Upon arrival at the camp, leave the camels and walk to the highest dunes for sand boarding and to watch the sunset. Spend the night in Berber nomad tents under the stars, listening to drum music in the middle of the Sahara.  • Day 3: Camel trek back to Merzouga - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech  Wake up in the early morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Ride your camel back to Merzouga to have breakfast. Pick up the rest of your luggage and begin your journey back to Marrakech, this time traveling through different areas and Berber villages. Once in Ouarzazate, take the same road back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.

Fantastic experience, everything perfect even if the hours of travel are many it is really worth it. I have seen great places and met wonderful people of this culture. They are really kind and have a big heart. I've been to the desert, seen the stars and listened to the sound of Berber music, but great August tajine and couscous. I crossed the sand dunes on a camel. Unique experience, to try once in a lifetime. Our guides were really nice to us, which unfortunately we had a problem is the morning we arrived late. What can I say, I can only highly recommend it !!!

Had a great experience travelling into the desert! Would have been nice to have spent a bit more time there as we arrived in the dark! Also would have been good if the van had proper air conditioning. All in all a lovely experience visiting local communities and seeing the desert!

The guided tour with Lahcen was extraordinary. We were in a 9-seater car for 8 people with the guide, spacious and air-conditioned. We made lots of stops to take pictures, made small detours as the weather allowed and it was magical. We also have stops at cafes, toilets, etc. on the way. Always a local guide to show us around the city or the kasbah in question, they are super friendly and full of knowledge. A small group like this allows good cohesion and not to waste time on useless photos and we were able to visit a lot of things! The desert was just magical, on the back of a camel or on foot if you prefer to see 4×4 if health concerns or other. Sunset and sunrise, big day but unforgettable. To do absolutely in Morocco, much better than staying in town. Lahcen is truly the best, always with good intentions and little surprises.
