Full description

Embark on a full-day tour to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech. Learn about Berber culture as you explore the land. Descend winding trails and admire stunning views of the falls on a boat ride.

Begin with pickup from your hotel or riad, before departing for one of the most spectacular waterfalls in North Africa, located 93 miles (150 km) north of Marrakech. As you arrive in the village of Ouzoud, admire views of the cascades that plunge 360 feet (110 meters) into the pool below. Follow your local guide through olive groves to an argan oil co-operative and learn about Berber culture. Make the most of the opportunity to admire the views and take photos. Continue down a network of trails to a viewpoint where you can buy fresh orange juice. Board a traditional boat for a short ride on the pool at the bottom of the waterfalls. Then, enjoy a late, Berber lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the falls.

In the mid-afternoon, climb a series of stairs out of the valley for your transfer back to Marrakech.

We really enjoyed our day trip we had a private driver who was perfectly on time. Ride was smooth breaks was included whenever we needed it. The trip itself was amazing beautiful sight. our private guide Ayoub Barahou, a lokal from the village made our tour special with his knowledge and „secret route“ we met other locals and experienced things other tours might not offer. Highly recommend especially Ayoub Barahou!

The drive there was scenic. When we arrived we saw the first waterfall and it was beautiful! Then we hung out with adorably cute monkeys! The second waterfall was amazing! Then we had lunch and it was absolutely delicious! (Only 10€ or 100 durham). I highly recommend this excursion. Great price for the whole day!!

Reason why I gave 4 out of 5 stars: it needs almost 3 hours to get to the target location and 3 hours back, only interrupted by a short bio break at some gas station. That spoiled the overall impression a little bit. The Waterfall is really nice and the attractions on-site (waterfall, monkeys, restaurants) are nice and impressive. The "boot trip" is more or less a short 10 min "rowing raft" cycle at the bottom of the waterfall. Its a funny thing though. Lunch is not included which is totally okay because the price is already very good. You can eat for 6-10 € on-site, very basic 3-course menu. Guide was very talkative and made a good tour. One drawback was that we had a driver for the first and last part, and the guide appeared on-site. So there was not much interaction on the drive itself.
