Full description
After being picked up at 8:30 in the morning from your accommodation in Marrakech set off for the Toubkal National Park, located about 60 km South Marrakech. Stop in the village of Asni for a 30-minute camel ride. Visit a local market where every Saturday people come from the surrounding villages to barter for fruits, vegetables, footwear, clothes, crafts, and livestock.  Continue to Imlil, a famous Berber village that marks the entrance to the Toubkal National Park where most expeditions to the Jbel Toubkal begin. Stop for tea and a little rest before you start a short walk through the Berber villages of the High Atlas Mountains. Meet the local people and learn about their culture and customs. When you reach the village of Aremd, enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Toubkal National Park. Enjoy lunch in Berber family house and you will have the possibility of making a short tour on a mule before heading back to Imlil. 2h relaxation route along paths between Berber villages.

Nice route of moderate level, with a good panoramic view of the valleys. Good driver who did not insist (thanks) after our refusal to stop at an Argan cooperative. We toured the Berber villages with the guide (kind and calm, who didn't speak much Spanish) and at the beginning of the natural park we were surprised by having a mint tea; To end the 2h short route with an Exquisite traditional Berber meal on a terrace with unbeatable views. Silence, peace and relaxation. Eye! It is not done at any time or camel ride, or donkey as it puts in the included. And you have to schedule the reservation, since on the web it puts as a meeting point: accommodation in Marrakech (without giving option to program it) the telephone that you inflict is paid. Finally we were shown the Ali hotel, at another time. Bad organization on the web.

Beautiful nature + hospitable people = super day out.

Highly recommended, this day trip. Roads and trails were easily accessible, and although we were in the mountains the journey was not difficult. Walking around at our leisure, we had plenty of time to enjoy the many beautiful and wide views. Guide Mohammed spoke excellent English and regularly came up with uncommonly funny things. The highlight was the warm welcome we received at Mohammed's house, followed by the very extensive, very tasty lunch (many a restaurant cannot compete with this). Beautiful nature and hospitable people together make a great day out, that summarizes our experiences briefly.

To do if you are in Marrakech for 6/7 days

It's a great visit. There is the waterfall, the path to get there, the meal within an adorable Berber family. On the other hand, for the return path, we passed by a path full of plastic waste: //// damage
