We will be having our delicious lunch in a restaurant in Ouarzazate that is by the Taourirte kasbah. This location was also used during the production of the movie Star Wars. Long drive (about 3.5 hours each way) but beautiful, all the way up and down through the mountains, the scenery is breath taking all the way. Despite it being a mountain the roads are not dangerous so if that is something you are concerned about, you don’t need to be. They’re well maintained, and smooth for the most part (a bit bumpy where construction is taking place, but safe.) The Atlas Studios are amazing and good value, it’s a guided tour that will cost 80Dirhams (per couple) plus a tip for your guide. Ait Benhaddou was an incredible village after your tour you may be asked to make a donation towards the ancient village (4€ per person) to continue to maintain it to allow future generations to enjoy the history, we also tipped the Berber guide too he did a great job. Lunch at Ait Benhaddou was delicious, again great value for money, lovely food, lovely restaurant & staff. We really recommend this tour, it’s an absolute must when in Marrakech.

This is my favourite tour so far. I was picked up on time in the morning as we went to pick up X2 over guests who were no shows my guide moved quickly to get me to join another group. the guide was very apologetic which was appreciated but wasn't his fault at all. I joined Mahjoub (guide) and Anass (driver) group. The provided and great day we were no rushed and the stops we had for the scenary was breathtaking. The scenery all around this tour is amazing and worth the visit. I found the tour very educational understanding more of morrocan culture and the visit to the film stories was a great finish. Mahjoub is a great guide and make everyone feel included and at ease. Anass was a great driver very responsible and dealt with the difficult mountain roads extremely well. This trip is value for money and more so. I would do this tour again hoping for the same driver and guide

We visited Ait Ben Haddou on the 31st of August. Our guide was Mohamed and he was excellent. He was on time, was very friendly, made sure things ran smoothly and there were no unnecessary delays. The trip through the Atlas mountains was absolutely breathtaking and there were two stops along the way for photo opportunities. The visit to Atlas Film Studios was fun, we were allowed to take pictures and interact with the props (sitting on chairs/thrones/in horse carriages etc.). Ait Ben Haddou was stunning and the local guide provided a lot of interesting information. Lunch was quick and tasty. In our opinion, this tour is definitely worth the long drive. We would have enjoyed having a little more time in Ait Ben Haddou, but it would have meant arriving quite late back in Marrakesh.

Abdel is a great guide and the tour was fantastic. Abdel was very knowledgeable about the region we explored and Morocco in general. The lunch was the best I had in Morocco so far.

It was a LONG day (15 hours) but a good adventure. The guide round the film studios was very good as was the guide at the UNESCO kasbah of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou.
