What people are saying about Masada

The tour was very well organized. You arrive at Metsada around 4:30 and have 3h at the location (with 30min/1h to go up, 30min/1h to go down). Sunrise experience was absolutely beautiful! You then get 1h30h at Ein Gedi (more than enough, unless your plan is to do a long hike - but then this tour is not your right option) and 2h at the Dead Sea (more than enough, unless your plan is to go to the spa - but then this tour is not your right option). The only thing I would change is for the bus driver to turn off the lights on the night ride :)

The tour was simply breathtaking. Getting up early was more than worth it. Each of the three attractions was great on its own, but in combination it was just perfect. We found the one hour in En Gedi absolutely sufficient. We could see three beautiful waterfalls and hold our nozzle in the cold water. We would definitely recommend the tour, especially because we were always the first everywhere and were able to get so many undisturbed impressions of the places.

It was my first tour with a group in this life. Alone I would not have dared to go into the wilderness of Israel. I wouldn't have thought of walking up a mountain through the desert at 5:00 am either. This tour is also really inspiring to get to know a lot about the country and its conditions. Very well organized. Reliable and personable. The sunrise in Masada was one of the most beautiful moments in my life

You really shouldn't underestimate the hike up the mountain. Even as sporty people, the hike was difficult for us. But the tour was great. The time at all stops was more than sufficient. Our guide was very nice and was able to provide a lot of background information.

This site has a fascinating history and is well worth seeing. spend an additional $8 and get a downloadable audio tour from the Action Tour Guide app - it really added to my understanding of the site.
