Excellent! This spot is definitely worth your time and money, there is so much to see! I recommend parking at the Prince Henry the Navigator Park. There is plenty of parking there, it’s free, and it’s only about a mile away from the museum. The walk between the park and the museum is really nice as it is located on an island in the middle of New Bedford Harbor and is connected to the mainland by the bridge so it has a great view of the water and the city.
Amazing experience. Saw half a dozen whales including two mother/calf pairs. We watched a calf playing at the surface metres from the boat which was incredible. The BHC team were clearly passionate about their work and educating visitors about the whales and efforts being made to protect them.
I was thrilled with the opportunity to actually see whales and not have to move from my window seat as mobility is a huge issue for me! The captian moved the boat around to benefit all sides of the ship.
It was like being in your own private Museum!! Haven’t been there for a couple of years so was stunned by the new exhibits!! And the variety and depth of these exhibits!
Fantastic cruise and amazing to see the whales in there natural habitat. Awesome information from the crew
