Join a surfing lesson and enjoy a fun, safe and unforgettable surfing experience. Learn to surf at a surf school in Kihei. Everything you need to surf is provided in one easy lesson. Each lesson includes a 10-15 minute land lesson on the basics of surfing and ocean safety. The rest of the lesson is spent in the water with your instructor. This semi-private lesson is great for couples or kids. Your lesson will include 2-12 students from your party and a private instructor. It will be more individualized than a group lesson, and allows you to receive more attention from your instructor and enables the style of teaching to be adapted depending on the ability of your party

The surf school in Kihei is located across from Kalama Park, on Kihei Road. It is on the corner of Auhana and Kihei Road, next to the HiTec Surf Shop. If you are on South Kihei Road coming from South Kihei/Wailea, turn right on Auhana Road. If you are on South Kihei Road coming from North Kihei, turn left onto Auhana Road.

It was so fun! The instructor was amazing and he taught us how to surf super easily! I planned this activity for my husband since he’s wanted to surf for quite a while, and even though I didn’t think I’d really get into it, I LOVED it!!! We had so much fun that we went back the next day and rented surf boards to go out again!

It was great! Our instructor Benjamin was very helpful. He got us up and surfing in the first couple of tries! Also started teaching us the basics and techniques on how to be able to surf on our own! Very friendly! Definitely recommend for first time or repeat surfers.
