  3. Isla Pajaros: Kayak & Snorkel Bird Island Expedition

  Kayak, snorkel, and bird watch on an expedition to Isla de Pajaros, Mexico (Bird Island). Observe species such as the white-wing pijije, red-billed rabijunco, brown bobo, brown pelican, brown heron, blue-footed booby, and hundreds more. Get picked up from your accommodation in Mazatlán, then head to the beach located in the Golden Zone (Zona Dorada). As you kayak to Bird Island, enjoy the natural view of the islands and marine life. Once at Bird Island, admire the birds and learn about the species from your biologist guide. The diverse ecosystem allows more than 400 species of birds to live here. Of the 400 species, 35 are endemic and 20 are migratory, visiting from October to March. Along with bird watching, take a dip in the sea and snorkel or swim.
