After being collected from your Ho Chi Minh accommodation, your day-trip to the Mekong River will begin. The Mekong Delta offers a glimpse into the unique and distinct agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region. You will enjoy a cruise along the Mekong River to one of the Islands (located in the town of My Tho) where upi will be entertained with traditional music whilst enjoying some tea sweetened naturally with bee’s honey. You will then take a paddle-boat to cruise through the narrow canals of the Mekong, which will provide an interesting look into the local cottage industry of making coconut candies. Following this, you will have a lunch of ‘Elephant Ear’, which is fish combined with other delicious Vietnamese dishes and is also a local specialty. At the conclusion of the tour, you will return Ho Chi Minh City to your accommodation at approximately 5:00PM.
