What people are saying about Mercado do Bolhão

The tour was excellent as was out guide. She explained much about the history of Porto as well as the various sites we visited along the way starting at the Cathedral and making our way down to the river and then back up into the center of town and ending at the bookstore. All in all it was a very good introduction to Porto and have us a good sense of the city as a start for our visit. I would recommend this tour to anyone new to the city as a way to get oriented.

Great overall tour of Porto. Guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of the history of the city. We walked around many important areas and sights. Would highly recommend this tour for someone looking to do a good overview of the city and to get a lay of the land. At the end of the tour we got to skip-the-line for Lello bookshop. Definitely a must see.

Learning a city in foot gives one a different perspective than reading about it or even driving around. This tour was small enough and long enough to highlight several important places and leave the participants with enough knowledge, curiosity and energy to continue the journey in their own.

Ricardo was an excellent tour guide. Gave us many great insights into the history of Porto along with lots of info on food and drink as well. Much appreciated and entertaining on a rainy day in Porto.

Excellent and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.
