What a wonderful trip for an amazing price. This tour felt like a private tour, it was just the right sized group for it to be social but not overcrowded. The tour matched the description and exceeded our expectations. There is no getting away from it being a long journey, but the frequent stops make it manageable and it is totally worth it to see the Sahara! The stars are amazing!!!!! The accommodation was high quality with private tents and thick blankets - ideal for the chilly nights.

We spent 4 excellent days in the company of Haziz and Hassan during our stay towards Merzouga. They always made sure to best meet our expectations as well as our comfort during our stay in Morocco (very good choice of hotels and restaurants). I highly recommend going with them as they managed to improve our stay: Haziz is an excellent driver with whom we feel safe and Hassan always makes sure to propose the right activities for us. Needless to say I highly recommend going with "Get Your Guide" !

The tour was well worth it, but there could have been more explanations and details sent to us leading up to the tour just to give us an idea of the logistics. We parked our car at one of the meeting points and someone drove us + our luggage to another location where we filled some papers and had mint tea. We then waited 1h30 before departing and no one explained us what would happen until it was time to leave. Our luggage was brought to our tent while we went on a dromedary ride to see the sunset. I wish our guide explained more about the desert and dromedaries, but he did not seem to speak French or English. We took a 30m ride then got off to walk in the dunes and watch the sunset. Once that was done, we rode for another 20m to get to the camp. Our tent was awesome with lots of blankets and hot shower! We had a great dinner and then sat with our new guide by the fire to sing songs and play drums. A bit later we walked outside of the camp to see the stars and even tried sandboarding.

Quality of food fluctuates depending on the day, but did have some good meals. If you are determined to see the a snip of the Atlas Mountain and the sandy parts of the Sahara this trip is worth it. Our main driver, Ali, was very kind and helpful and arranging pick-up/drop-off was easy.

We had an amazing time with our guide, Abe, and driver Mohammad. Abe, who is not typically a guide was actually auditing the trip to ensure it met Ando's standards, and allowed us to have a private tour as my best friend Thomas and I were the only people who had booked the trip for those days. This transformed our tour into a private tour allowing us amazing opportunities. On nearly any topic we found Abe to be knowledgeable, eloquent and honest. Discussions ranged from the state of education, details on architecture and construction, the langua franca, geopolitics, agriculture, the ancient history of the Berber people and everywhere in between. The nights out in the desert were wonderful. The camel ride on the second trip to the dunes is about two or two and a half hours each way, and while it is beautiful it is very cold, which seems intuitively obvious now, but I was not prepared for. Abe generously lent me his coat, which eased the trip considerably, but 5:30AM is frigid.

Myself and my partner had a great time on this trip, there were 7 other people on the tour & after reading some of the worse reviews we were prepared for the journey to be relatively stressful when in fact the whole trip really exceeded our expectations and we had lots of fun. The bus was modern & had good a/c, although there is a lot of driving it is broken up well and worth it for the experience of reaching the Sahara. We had some great guides along the way like Mohamed in Ait Ben Haddou & a big shout out to Ali who showed us around the Draa valley and gorge with lots of laughs shared, making us feel very welcome. The Sahara experience was amazing, and although you’re not there ages it means you avoid the hottest part of the day. The accommodation on the first night was also amazing unexpectedly with a huge pool to cool off. Overall we loved it and our driver Haj Mohammed was great driver who made us feel super safe and relaxed on the journey! Thank you from Emily & Brad (sherlock)

The driver Mohammed was really nice, and he drove very safely. The guides were great and funny during the trip, they share a lot about their culture and personal life or opinion so it was good to exchange with them. And of course, we enjoyed to be in the Sahara with the camels who are in good health, and loved. Even if the road can be exhausted, if you want to have stars in your eyes thanks to these wonderful safari desert, goooo!
