Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Bike Tour

4. Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Bike Tour

You will leave Sorrento and head to Meta passing through the small towns of Sant’Agnello and Piano di Sorrento. In Meta you will do the first difficult phase of the tour: a 5km uphill road with a slope of 4-5% until the hamlet of Colli di San Pietro, then you will go downwards until the start of Highway 163 towards Amalfi. The first section of the highway is curvy and goes downwards. The view is breathtaking; it will be hard not to be tempted to stop and take a picture. Before getting to Positano, the road goes upwards for 1.5 km, but the enthusiasm to arrive at the pearl of the Amalfi Coast will give you energy. You will bike along the curvy roads of the Amalfi Coast passing through the famous towns of Praiano and Positano until reaching the Amalfi Cathedral. Once you have arrived in Amalfi, you will stop for about 30 minutes to stroll along the traditional alleys and visit the beautiful Saint Andrew Cathedral. Outstanding. The best small group tour we’ve experienced. Tony, our guide, was engaging, informative, enthusiastic…a great host. The 90 minute stops on Amalfi and Positano were the right length…this is not a tour focused on the two towns, it’s all about the scenery and the ride. We’ve been to the Amalfi Coast three times, and you really can’t fully appreciate it until you see it be boat. It is truly awesome. It was a perfect way to spend a day, well worth it. We’d do it again!!

Went with wife during honeymoon. Amazing experience and quick day trip to see the coastal cities! Small group/boat was perfect and hotel pickup was extremely convenient as well. Totally recommend!

Our trip through Amalfi Coast was wonderful! A small group on individuals from all over the world, our guide and skipper were most informative.

We had an amazing excursion. Mario and Francisco were the best!

Very good trip , the visit in Pompeii was excellent .
