It was nice to go to Teotihuacán early in the morning, as there were less people there AND you got to see hot air balloons (which apparently only happen in the mornings due to atmosphere), so those made for a great spectacle. The restaurant for lunch was okay—definitely a tourist trap. The group was a bit too large.

Worth it!

Our guide, Sergio, was very knowledgeable (and funny too!). The site was pretty much empty when we arrived, and didn’t get crowded until we were nearly finished. The site is breathtaking, and the history is incredibly complex and interesting. The “tourist trap” shops and restaurant at the end weren’t bad—I got a beautiful piece of obsidian—and though the lunch wasn’t amazing, it was decent and I really enjoyed getting to talk to some other tourists from all over the world.

Such an amazing experience!

This experience was better than I could have imagined. So convenient, we got picked up from our hotel and was on a guided tour for the next 7 hours. The pyramids were so amazing. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour 100% over any other ones you come across online. Trust me I did my research !
