Full description

Take in the three most culturally and historically important sites in the Mexico City area on a full-day tour. First, visit the archeological site of Teotihuacan and marvel at some of the most impressive pyramids in the world. See the Sun and Moon pyramids, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, and the Dead's Avenue. Next, you’ll head to Mexico’s most important Catholic pilgrimage site, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This shrine was built to commemorate the reported appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego, an Aztec peasant. The third and final stop of the tour is Tlatelolco, where it is said that the past, present, and future of Mexico meet. The Plaza de las Tres Culturas is named after the three periods of Mexican history represented by structures from the pre-Columbian, Spanish colonial, and the independent mestizo nation.

This was a pretty good tour with a lot of historical details. You get to see the beautiful pyramids and take amazing pictures there. The guide also takes you to a great restaurant. The only downside was that at time it felt like too much detailed information was being shared and the whole group started to get bored. A little more free time would be nice to take pics but overall a great experience.

Marcos and Juan were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They picked me up in a non central neighbourhood on time which was of huge help. I would hands down recommend them. The only downside was the lunch place which we didn't have a saying to and felt a bit imposed - I ended up just having coffee.

We've been on a tour on March 12, with Joel the driver and the tour guide Ines. The tour was great, Ines told us about the history of every location and got us into the mexican history. She seems to have a lot of knowledge and is always willing to answer questions and very caring for the group. thanks!
