We booked a next day tour and were contacted promptly about the details. Our guide, Hagen picked us up at the scheduled time and provided a wonderful experience. He first drove us to the marina and on the way, gave us a great overview of Miami history. We hopped on the wave runners for about an hour with a different guide. The wave running experience wasn’t necessarily a guide but more of a “letting us run a little loose” on the Bay Area-which was really fun. We followed behind him but were able to go pretty fast! We then met back up w/Hagen after a quick shower/change. He then gave us an hour or so long tour of downtown on our way back to the hotel. It was such an enjoyable experience. Hagen was very knowledgeable and friendly! We would definitely book again!
The actual cruise was exactly what we were looking for, however the meeting place was a challenge to find. The email confirming the cruise gave a map that was not correct on the location of where we were to meet. Would have been better not to have that map in there. Had we would used the address given we would have been ok. Plus they changed the cruise to another operator which departed a half hour later.
Enjoyed the experience overall. It started to rain 1/2 thru and all of the water accumulated as a small flood in the front lower area. Of course no one can control the weather but has anyone thought to add holes/vents to drain the water out of the sides of the bus? I was also curious if there is a route closer to see the beach?
Miguel was friendly, informative and an all around great guide. I highly recommend this low stress and high value ride around South Beach.
