What people are saying about Mie Prefecture

After our trip to Osaka for 9 days and visiting the different prefectures in Kansai, Ise has been our favorite. Our tour guide, Tetsuya-san, brought us to Geku, Naiku, Oharamachi, Okageyokocho, and Meotoiwa. We were on time all throughout and Tetsuya-san was kind to adjust to our requested end time to be back in the station since we had early dinner reservations in Ise. Really happy to have booked this tour because others only provided the first 4 sights but with Tetsuya-san he included Meotoiwa. The place had it all, culture, food, and spectacular sights. If you have the time to go out of Osaka prefecture, Ise is a top choice and Tetsuya-san would be a wonderful tour guide for you.

My husband and I loved our tour with our guides Emiko and Kyohei. As it was Wakame season, we switched the Ama-show with watching actual fishermen of the region processing wakame algea. We hat a nice chat with the people from the village and participated in processing wakame. Kyohei is an actual diver, who dives for abalone and sea cucumber for a living. Our trip to the beautiful temple and shrine of Ise was very informative. Emiko explained Shinto Religion and Customizing very nicely and is fluent in english and german.

Although it was the time of the New Year when there were many worshipers, I was able to visit the places I wanted without anxiety, such as the Naiku, Geku, Sarutahiko Shrine, and Tsukiyomigu Shrine. Thanks to the explanations given by the guide, I was able to learn more about the area. It was a very fulfilling time in the 6 hour course. thank you very much.

We loved the visit, the kindness and authenticity of the guide. To advice !

Great guide and had a wonderful day tasting different foods.
