Mijas

Watch 'Ritmo a Caballo', an equestrian ballet that has been performed here every Wednesday at 5:45PM uninterrupted for 30 years. The choreography incorporates a mixture of cowboy moves and dressage to Spanish music. Riders wear old Andalusian costumes and the show is directed by José Carlos González Guerrero, who was awarded the Champion of Spain in 2009. The one and a half hour show features 20 horses, all trained by their riders. Be amazed as you watch a group of Spanish horses all move in unison to the beat of the music. Rigorous training and traditional elegance are combined in this impressive performance.

You will start the trip to reach the typical village of Mijas. This town, located in the center of the Sierra de Mijas, is dominated by the ruins of an Arab palace. The town, typically Andalusian, is formed by narrow streets with white houses characterized by elegant wrought iron grilles. Later you will have free time to admire the great panorama of the coasts, the mountains and take a walk to discover this curious city. After the free time in Mijas you will resume the trip to Marbella, on arrival you will take a small panoramic overview of the city by bus and later a walk through the city, after the walk you can enjoy free time in the city. You will leave Marbella behind to continue towards Puerto Banús, a key point on the Costa del Sol for celebrities and the wealthy, enjoy free time to see its marina, its promenade or have a drink in one of its many establishments.

Marvel at this spot perched on the mountain range of the same name, overlooking the Mediterranean and covered in green. Enjoy free time in Mijas for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then, hop on the coach to drive to Marbella. Visit the world-renowned city and discover the Plaza de Los Naranjos. Walk through the streets full of flowers of the old town, the most unknown and beautiful part of the coastal city. Enjoy another 1 hour and 15 minutes at your own pace at this stop. Your next destination is a short drive along the Golden Mile to the ever-glamorous Puerto Banus. See luxury yachts that have been here since the late 60s. Take a stroll through high-end shops, bars and restaurants. Spot supercars and luxury vehicles. Enjoy the charm of this spot over 1 hour and 45 minutes. The coach with the guide will then drive back to your drop-off point.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception was built by the Muslims in 836, being converted into a Christian church after the conquest, when a Moorish-style tower was added in 1510. From almost any point of the village you can see the white chapel of Calvary, located at a somewhat higher level. At the conclusion of your guided tour, you will have 1 hour's free time, before being returned back to your accommodation in Málaga.
