Full description

First, explore Milan’s culinary scene by visiting the city’s

bottegas (shops) which are stocked full of fresh produce and local specialties. Led by your expert chef, browse the stores and learn about local cuisine. Liaise with vendors, butchers, and bakers as you pick out the tastiest ingredients to prepare your meal. With your groceries in hand, take a short walk to the cooking school, a brand-new facility in the heart of the city. Put on your apron and follow the chef's instructions in order to create exquisite traditional dishes. Learn how to create dishes such as cheese fondue, ragout, fresh hand-rolled pasta, and dessert. Measure, mince, mix, season, and stir to create authentic Milanese cuisine.  Take a break to savor a selection of premium wines and local cheeses. Once everything is ready, sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy your culinary creations. At the end of the experience, you will receive an attendance certificate and a recipe booklet so you can share the recipes you learned with your friends and family at home.

My class size was 5. Very hands on. We made 2 different kinds of pasta, tiramisu and learned how to make risotto and a butter and sage sauce. The Chef was knowledgeable and personable. His recounting of his vast experiences took the class over the top.

We had a fabulous time. At first we thought 5 hours was going to be too much but it was perfect. The activities were timed out just right. Our chef was amazing. He was very interesting and personable. I cant wait to recommend this to all of our friends.

We had a wonderful time in the cooking class. We made tiramisu, pumpkin ravioli & saffron risotto. The chef was patient and a good teacher. We can definitely replicate these recipes at home. There were 9 of us in the class- a couple from Scotland, a couple from Israel & one local. Very enjoyable.
