Start your day with pickups at different points of the Costa del Sol or Malaga and depart for Ardales. Take a coffee stop along the way at a local restaurant full of regional products. Arrive at the northern access point of the Caminito del Rey where the group will then walk through a small tunnel to reach the natural paths that lead to the entrance checkpoint of the gorges. At this point, receive a helmet and safety instructions. Your guide will join you to give you further explanations of what will be found during the trek as well as about the history of the El Chorro Gorge. Follow the natural pass across the hills that separate the Malaga coastline. See the River Guadalhorce at the bottom of the gorges and pass by the reservoirs.  See how El Caminito de Rey is nowadays a rebuilt path that stretches between two gorges, canyons, and a large valley with pathways or boardwalks. It is safe and comfortable to walk as most of the path is flat or downhill. The route goes in one direction, downwards from the north to the south. Your bus will be waiting near the exit point. After your trek, drive to the village of Alora and stop at the wine cellar of an award-winning bodega to taste wine and snack on Spanish tortilla, olives, and other foods. After your wine tasting, travel back to Costa del Sol or Malaga and be dropped off at your pickup point.
