Full description
Begin the evening on the banks of the Colorado River, just 2 miles north of Moab, Utah. Savor a delicious cowboy-style Dutch oven dinner in a dining room overlooking the water. After dinner, climb aboard a flat-bottomed boat and begin your river adventure. A knowledgeable and entertaining guide will point out things of interest and ignite your imagination. Once darkness settles in, the formal part of the evening begins when 40,000 watts of natural light illuminate the canyon wall. Watch as lights, shadows, music, and narration make the stories of the canyon's formation, creation, and history come to life on the walls above the river - as learned from the early settlers of the area (the Catholic conquistadors, Native Americans, and Mormon pioneers). This Sound and Light Show is a not-to-be-missed unique experience and a great end to a perfect day in Moab.

The Colorado River Dinner Cruise with Music and Light Show is a must when you’re enjoying all that Moab has to offer. It’s such a relaxing way to unwind after a day of Jeeping and Mountain Biking. The food is absolutely great. The Host and Driver of the boat are excellent. I’d highly recommend this activity.

Lots of fun with this folksy crowd. Led by a native Moabite. Food was good. Be prepared for small servings but an opportunity to get a second helping. Don’t be shy about going back. The food is served buffet style and not on the cruise. Wear comfy clothes and bring a jacket. The light show is good and the music is peaceful. I could cruise with the music alone but the historical story of Utah is nice. Go, sit back, relax and enjoy. PS Alcohol is extra!

I would highly recommend this tour. I’ve done tours all across the west. This as almost a spiritual journey. Dinner was a home made buffet that was fantastic. Then you boat a pontoon boat around sunset. You head out into a canyon via the Colorado river. The guides are so funny as the tell the history of the canyon to killer music. When it gets dark There is a truck following the boat. The truck shines lights on the canyon. This is an amazing idea for a tour. Well worth it.
