What people are saying about Monistrol de Montserrat

Mariana our guide was so personable, knowledgeable and entertaining. She was funny and made the learning parts very interesting and engaging. The abbey was gorgeous. The bus ride was fantastic, new and comfortable bus. There was a bit of confusion when it came time to split the groups up (some were going on to a lunch option) and we ended up in the wrong one but rejoined the correct group without much trouble.

It was a great spiritual experience for me. Love everything about it. Wished I could spend more time to fully explore the area. The view is also stunning. The guide Merza was super friendly and funny. Gave us a lot of his personal tips and showed us around the place diligently. As the timing was very tight, he gave us suggestion and options on where we should prioritise and visit.

Beautiful location high in the mountains about 45 km west of Barcelona.. Our guide (Jon) was excellent. He explained that Montseratt means "Serrated Mountains" because of their unique shape. The bus trip eech way took about 2 hours. A must see is the Monastery. There is a restaurant plus souvenir shops. Overall we spent just over 2.5 hours there.

It's a great tour, the place is beautiful, the guides are very nice. the tasting of wines and tapas is a great complement after visiting the monasteries

So much fun. Our guide was the best and funny also. Lunch was very delicious and wine very tasty too.
