We had an amazing day on our 8 hour, private tour of Sintra and Cascais with our chauffeur/guide Alex. He was so lovely; a professional but friendly, extremely knowledgeable and charming companion. My husband is disabled with very poor mobility and Alex modified our tour in order to avoid any activity that required walking any great distance. When we did stop at the National Palace at Sintra and our (very enjoyable) port tasting in the centre, he even pushed him in his wheelchair. We cannot thank Alex enough for hostin us on such a wonderful day's activity, everything was absolutely perfect and we cannot recommend Alex, Wondervan and Get Your Guide (through whom we booked) enough. We will treasure always the memories we made and the knowlege we gained from Alex. Thank you so very much.
The day to Sintra was a great adventure. Our guide, Augusto was very good with interesting facts about history and other little stories during our tour; the region and the history in general of Spain and this region. He also made sure we went to and started our exploration at Pena when there was practically nobody there. A couple of hours later there were hundreds of people. Everything was amazing and something you should do if your are in Lisbon and have a day. We were in a small group with just the three of us and a couple from Spain that we really hit it off with. The sites and a leisurely lunch in Sintra was great and a full day of good activities. Well worth the time and money.
The trip was great. The guide was knowledgeable about town history, provided a lot of details. There were 5 of us in a minivan. We enjoyed all sites. It requires a lot of walking, stop hills. Take shuttles where you can if it’s an issue.
The tour guide Ronaldo was friendly and definitely showed us more than expected. But for the castle in Sintra I suggest take a whole day and not just 90 min. The park is beautiful and worth walking around too.
Amazing experience, will absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon, Tomás was a fantastic guide and so knowledgeable, fascinating tour ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
