The Hidden Side of Paris in Virtual Reality
- Duration: 35 minutes
- Optional audio guide
The Paris neighborhood of Montmartre is famous for its bohemian flair, and many of its cultural offerings shape the city. It's a great place to relax and take in some art - what are some places you shouldn't miss?
Paris' most famous basilica was completed in 1914 and shines like a beacon. After you've climbed its white steps, it will give you a breathtaking view across the city!
This collection of sculptures and paintings is the only permanent Dali exhibition in France. It's really popular though, so book your tickets in advance.
Not just a movie, Moulin Rouge is a legendary place you can visit - why not book dinner for two with a raunchy show there?
Visit the Wall of Love in the Jehan Rictus garden in the world's most romantic city! Made of molten lava, it's covered with the phrase "I love you" in over 300 different languages.
The street life along this canal summarizes the Parisian lifestyle - leisurely strolls and afternoons spent sitting outside at cafés, sampling world-class food.
Unfortunately, Paris' status as a world-class tourist city means it's also rife with pickpockets. Keep valuables stashed away deep inside a bag - especially on the metro - and don't flash them around at night.
While nobody's expecting you to master French before you arrive, learning some basic words here and there will get you places and cause locals to look at you favorably!
If you're keen to dine at a certain restaurant, reserve in advance to avoid disappointment - and remember that the French tend to eat dinner a bit later than Americans, around 7:00PM.
You don't want to spend your vacation standing around, do you? If you have your sights set on one or two major museums, buy your tickets in advance to skip the ticket lines.
Very exciting, I enjoyed the Moulin Rouge show, and despite of the cancellation of the river cruise due to La Seine water level raise, we have been compensated with a bus tour for one hour and 2 cruise vouchers valid for 1 year to be reused.. This means one extra tour added to my purchased package. These guys knows how to treat their customers. By end of night the bus took us back to hotel. I enjoyed this day so much. Just wish to add the arabic language to the list of languages supported in the tour guidance.
Lovely evening! River cruise was great & moulin Rouge show was amazing, just really pricey for drinks etc & took a while to be served out champagne, also no bar you can buy drinks from, you have to request table service which is hard to do when it’s loud / busy and only a few servers which don’t come around often. Over all an amazing evening, just be ready for the 2/3 hour gap in between both activities where you will go on a guided bus tour which can be a little bit boring and draining
The boat tour was so much fun, if not incredibly cheesy. It was a great way to see Paris at night and also feel perfectly safe. I was very excited to see the show, because Moulin Rouge is one of my favorite movies. It was a super entertaining experience and I am very glad I did it. However, Though I'm not sure what I was expecting, I was surprised. Some of the costumes were ridiculous full body suits with just the boobs cut out. But hey, it was a good show.
Our guide was max on the tour a lovely chap it was a great experience and would do it again he picked us up and dropped us back taken us all round paris and was very helpful also he had taken photos of us stop so we can enjoy the view of the city told us all about places my partner loved it as she always wanted to do this fantastic experience and nice bike and excellent guide thank you Chris and Debbie from uk
So fun!! Our driver/guide Julien was funny, knowledgeable as well as professional. Somewhat chilly day, but Julien had nice blankets and even an extra coat if we needed. My teenager loved it... thought she would be embarrassed, but instead had a great time. Wonderful way to discover Paris! Thank you Julien we will definitely be booking again for a different area of Paris.
