    Full description
    Your experience begins as you meet in Montpellier with your local guide. It will be at this point you will receive a presentation of the excursion itinerary before your departure in an air-conditioned minibus. In a small group, discover the small medieval village of Mourèze and its cirque with other-worldly rock formations. Shortly before lunch time, you will return to the minibus to explore a unique lake which is sure to make an impression on you. It will be at this location you will be free to enjoy a picnic at the water's edge, as you chat with your guide. In the early afternoon, admire beautiful gorges and a medieval bridge which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will later finish the day strolling through the winding streets of a medieval village full of artisanal shops in a natural and enchanting setting. History is also very present in this area, which boasts an impressive abbey with a glorious past.

    David was exceptionally knowledgeable, and gracious to continue with the tour when all others who'd booked canceled or didn't show. And personalized the tour to my liking in the process. He walked at my pace, and since the tour wasn't taking as long as usual, added a couple extras into it.

    We absolutely loved this tour - the variety of places we visited, the beauty of both the towns and the landscapes. The pace was perfect.... we weren't rushed and were able to linger in places of particular interest. I can't believe we covered so much in one day, yet still felt energised at the end of the trip. We were very impressed with our guide David who shifted effortlessly between english and french. He was charming and knowledgeable and very generous with his time.

    I would definitely recommend this trip. David was super attentive and tailored the pace of the tour to our needs. You can feel that he loves his job. He even brought chairs and a table for our picknick. On top, the sights are lovely and the nature stunning.
