Today is a day for nature with a Sunshine Coast Hinterland day tour, including spectacular views, local delicacies, and plenty of photo opportunities from three different panoramic lookouts Begin your experience with pickup from Mooloolaba in the early morning, or from Noosa and Noosaville 45 minutes later from your accommodation (depending on where you are staying). First, visit an Australian company recognized for quality and innovation: Nutworks. Nutworks is a proud supplier of macadamia nuts in the shell, kernels, flavored nut products, and sweets. Across the road is another major attraction — the Buderim Ginger Factory. Here you can take a tour of the factory (included) or ride the steam train through the rainforest gardens (additional cost) and sample unique ginger-based products. You will then arrive in Montville where you will spend an hour checking out the quirky and delightful shops and boutiques, enjoying this picture-perfect postcard village and its mountain air. Following Montville, it will be time to get back on the minibus and check out the awesome panoramic views from Gerrard’s Lookout. It will then be time for lunch at The Barn Flaxton, where you will enjoy a delicious 2-course meal. After lunch, take a short drive across the Blackall Range to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, a bush-walkers paradise set on 55 hectares of subtropical rainforest overlooking the stunning Glass House Mountains. In the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, enjoy the opportunity to walk 1.7 kilometers (about 1 mile) through the pristine rainforest, learning about the unique flora and fauna present there. At the conclusion of your tour, you’ll be dropped back to your accommodation in the late afternoon in time for a rest before dinner.
