I had one day prior to joining my Kilimanjaro group to explore the local area so decided on the waterfalls and coffee tour. I got promptly collected by a driver from my hotel who took me to Materuni village; he spoke great English and gave me information en route. On arrival at materuni, I met a local guide who took me to the waterfall, which was about an hour hike. Beautiful scenery and the guide was amazing! After the hike, I got to make coffee with the locals and enjoy a traditional lunch at one of the village houses - highly recommend!!

We were picked up in Arusha and driven to Materuni Village where our tour started. The guide spoke good English and told a lot of interesting during the tours. It was a lovely trip and well worth the money. Making coffee with a local family on their farm was a delight, and the coffee tasted heavenly. We had the opportunity to buy a bag of coffee beans and local paintings with us. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hike through natural banana and coffee plantations to a waterfall worth seeing. During the hike, the guide explained the plants and animals along the way in detail. For example, we were able to observe a chameleon. Lunch and coffee were delicious and the manual coffee making very interesting.

The Guide was super friendly and had an answer to every question. From my side, it's an absolutely must do, to go to the Waterfalls and see the coffee process. The People from the Village are very friendly and the food, is super great. Many thanks to the guide and Thomas, who was driving us.

The Hotsprings is a must! It's so beautiful and the guide was very nice. Big thank you to our driver :)
