After you make your way to the island of Murano you’ll meet a tour provider’s representative at the Murano Faro boat station and head off on this 40-minute Murano glass experience. After a short walk you’ll reach the glass factory where a glass master will be waiting for you. A factory guide will welcome you and explain about the processes involved in glass production. The master will create an object using the blowing technique. Then, during a sculpture technique demonstration you will see how glass animals are made. The tour takes place at a Murano glass factory on St. Mark's Square in central Venice, where you will be told about the origins of glass blowing, and learn how Murano became the center of glass-making when the Venetian Republic ordered all the foundries relocate to protect the wooden buildings of the main city from catching fire. Murano glassmakers became the most important citizens of Venice, and throughout the ages they refined their techniques thanks to trading between the Venetian Republic and the countries of the Middle and Far East. After being collected from your Venice accommodation, you will begin your tour visiting the political and religious center of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, St. Mark's Square and its monuments. You'll begin with the Doge's Palace, the seat of government of the Republic and the Doge's private residence. The tour was nice. I highly recommend especially it comes with wine. Alessandro (tour guide) was amazing! We were given 1 hour and 40 minutes to explore Burano, still wasn’t enough if you plan on eating. Regardless, I’m glad I booked this tour.

The cathedral is very beautiful they did a wonderful renovation. The glassblowing show is fantastic you can watch every step to create different objects. You can have a drink while watching the show and also buy beautiful objects made buy them

Beautiful experience, worth both the demonstration and the lab! All organized and guide available to give advice also for the return after the activity (how to move, which lines to take for the next destination)
