Watch Timescapes, an ongoing short documentary that brings viewers on a 28-minute journey through 400 years of NYC history. Get impassioned by the city's long history of social movements, from abolitionism and nativism to the Young Lords and BLM, in Activist New York. In our rotating special exhibits, you'll find deep dives into fascinating topics of New York's history, present and future. MCNY is located at the top of Museum Mile and across from Central Park’s Conservatory Gardens and housed in a newly renovated 1932 Georgian Colonial-Revival building.
