Most enjoyable part of my solo trip to Athens, where my guide Bill (a historian + archaeologist!) was highly entertaining, informative, considerate and respectful. They continued with the trip even though I was the only participant that day, and I had the undivided attention of the guide who was well versed in greek mythology, social & cultural issues, history and geography. Highly recommended to people seeking a deeper insight and understanding to the country - a professional guide of this calibre beats any guidebook or wikipediaing or googling.
The tour was absolutely lovely and Anastasia was a fantastic guide! She knew basically everything. I personally didn't choose the lunch option as Nafplio is such a nice village and I didn't want to miss out on this. A lovely ice-cream and a fresh lemonade did a good job in the Greek heat as well.
Very Interesting places. . Learned a lot on Greek past. Our guide BIll was VERY helpful. Told us many interesting myth Greek stories and gave us a lot of interesting information of every place in the way. He also stopped the car for us in interesting places in the way with amazing photo spots !
It was an excellent tour. The bus was very comfortable, the guide was very well prepared and nice, her english was very good too. The tour was organised well. The only thing that I missed that during the way back to Athens we have seen some beautiful panorama points which would worth to stop.
Very good tour, should have told us about the late lunch but it's okay, the moussaka and the oranges are the best. The treasury of Atreus could have use a little lighting inside so visitors can appreciate more the craftmanship made to create the dome by the people from 2400 BC.
