Don't bother buying any kind of ticket for pompeii other than the official italian ONLINE ticket. there is no 'fast track' 'skip the queue' tickets. the only people who can skip the queue are the ones with the actual online Tickets. Not the getyourguide or any other kind of voucher tickets. also stay away from the Ticket office at the trainstation. even tho there are signs that it deals with getyourguide tickets, it is not the official Pompeii ticket office and they just waste your time there.
This tour will take you on a guided visit of the world’s best preserved Roman city, Herculaneum. This was a rich city of merchants and nobility, whose lives ended dramatically fast with the eruption of Mount Vesuvius nearly 2,000 years ago. See the waterfront, where the remains of more than 300 people lie, who died trying to escape by sea. Explore the Samnite house, the thermal baths, the Temple of the Augustales, and the Forum. Discover the house of Neptune and Amphitrite, the Gymnasium, and much more. During this experience you can see not only stone, marble, and ceramics that survived the eruption, but also carbonized wood, and paintings and mosaics even more exquisite than those found in Pompeii. Learn about life in this city, and the blast that destroyed it, on this 2-hour guided tour.
We covered all of Herculaneum! Absolutely loved our guide. We was so informational and made sure we got to see all the cool things
Come and see enchanting scenery unfold before your eyes in a secret place full of history and atmosphere. This emotional journey conducts visitors through the new section of the underground of Naples. The Bourbon Tunnel was built in 1853 by Ferdinand II of Bourbon, who, concerned about the outbreak of the rebellion, asked for an escape from the Royal Palace to the barrack in Via della Pace, now Via Morelli. The work was not completed and, during the Second World War, was used by residents of the area as a military hospital, later becoming the Hall Judicial Deposit. The war left its mark even in the subsoil where we find handwritten messages of wish and desolation of those who lived there. In the tunnels you will also find statues dating back to the fascist period and a unique exhibition of many cars and motorcycles, abandoned for years and then freed from piles of rubbish, arranged and...
Suggestions: Wear closed shoes and comfy clothes. Have water with you. Carry teardrops if you have eye problem. Visit the toilet before the tour.
Naples is a mixture of colors and perfumes, be enchanted by the warmth of its people and the sounds of daily life. Begin at Piazza Bellini to see the remains of ancient Greek walls. Continue to Piazza del Gesù, one of the most famous squares of the city a few steps away from the historical center. Visit Spaccanapoli, a long and narrow street that divides the old Naples in two perfect halves with shops, restaurants and alleys. Be amazed by the San Domenico Maggiore square with a perfect overlapping of different architectural styles and the pearl of Naples, the Chapel San Severo featuring the statue Cristo Velato by Giuseppe Sanmartino. See the famous statue of the God of Nile river, Piazza St. Gaetano, and the churches of Naples, San Lorenzo and San Paolo Maggiore. The baroque cathedral of Saint Gennaro dates back to the 13th century and is at the heart of the Neapolitan faith. Here the...
Very nice walk in the center of Naples with a sparkly, energizing and motivational guide.
Travel back in time to the devastating day in 79 AD the brooding volcano of Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried the Roman city of Pompeii beneath molten ash. On arrival, your expert guide will take you on a 2-hour tour through the remains of this UNESCO world heritage site remarkably frozen in time for almost 2,000 years. One of the most popular destinations in the world, you will hear stories about The Forum, Thermal Baths, Lupanare, Greek Theater and plaster casts of the bodies of Pompeii people. Following a typical Naples lunch of pizza at one of Pompeii’s cafés, you will then be driven close to the summit of the mountain that destroyed it. From there, it's just a walk to the lip of the crater. The only active volcano in continental Europe, Vesuvius has erupted many times, but it was the destruction of Pompeii and its surrounding towns that made it most famous. Climb to the top, and...
Wonderful tour for the family. My wife and I along with our four children were picked up in a shuttle at our hotel and all transport throughout the day was super easy. The guides were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met and pointed out some great info along the way that was really interesting. Definitely don’t forget to bring plenty of water! The tour is great, but the day is long and water is essential. The lunch between the tours was great and more than we could eat. The sites were everything we wanted to see, but what really made the day enjoyable was the genuine kindness and generosity of our guides.

We found this a great saving. Free travel on metro and bus and free and discounted sites. The only hassle was having to go to the central station to get our vouchers exchanged at a small obscure newsagents. Should be more places to get it from or better directions.

We opted for the €77 ticket as on the GetYourGuide website, it didn't make clear what the difference was between that and the more expensive option. Our trip was on Friday 20th August and we had an amazing day. It was extremely hot so I would advise wearing lots of spf and a hat, and bring chilled water in a cooler bottle for the day to help keep hydrated. We were on a bus at 7.30 and stopped for coffee half way to Napoli and Pompeii. Once we reached Napoli, we received a 1 hour walking tour of some main areas and this was brilliant, but this wasn't mentioned on the website which I found odd as it was a great addition to the trip. After this we proceeded to Pompei where those of us with cheaper tickets made our own food arrangements (there's a number of restaurants there and they are moderately priced) while the other bus members went for food together. We explored Pompeii for 3 hours and loved it. Brilliant value trip and worth doing
Purchase the Naples & Campania Artecard for access to over 40 monuments, museums, and archaeological sites, including Ruins of Pompei, Herculaneum, the Catacombs of Saint Gennaro and Saint Gaudioso, National Archaeological Museum, MADRE, Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte, Royal Palace of Naples, The Bourbon Tunnel, Castel Sant'Elmo, Certosa of San Martino, Royal Palace of Caserta, Paestum, and the Archaeological Museum of Capua. Enjoy free admission to 2 museums or sites and discounted admission to all other museums and archaeological sites visited thereafter. Explore the city as you travel for free on the Naples & Campania regional public transportation network (UnicoCampania public transport system).
Apart from saving a bit of money having the 3 day pass makes travel and entry into sights so easy and safe. Just one card to keep in your pocket and not having to keep getting a wallet out to pay a few euros for a Metro or train. We also bypassed queues for entry to Pompeii. Well worth it.
Discover the ruins of Herculaneum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's best-preserved ancient cities. Herculaneum was buried under volcanic material after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD but, unlike the nearby site of Pompeii, a lot of the town was preserved, such as roofs, beds, doors, food, and even skeletons. Walk the cobbled streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site with an expert archaeologist and get a glimpse of what life was like before the devastating eruption. Explore intact buildings at your own pace, see well-preserved frescoes, and imagine the daily rituals of those using the shops, public gymnasium and public thermal baths that can still be seen today.
Riccardo was amazing! He was friendly and helpful. He patiently answered all of my questions, and he spent as long at a given site as I wanted :) But more importantly, he was passionate about what he was doing. It was clear that he wasn't "just another bored tour guide, repeating the same spiel" but rather an extremely well-informed local who was intimately familiar with the site and all of its history and who clearly delighted in sharing it with us. Riccardo actually offered to stay past our two-hour booking time, just to allow us more time to fully enjoy Herculaneum in depth. Unfortunately, we had to leave to catch our train back to Naples. All in all, this was a fabulous experience, and if I visit other archaeological sites, I will definitely look into having an archaeologist as a guide. Highly recommend!
Begin your day with pickup from select Naples hotels, the Naples train station, or your cruise ship terminal. Head to the harbor, where you'll board your hydrofoil. Glide across the blue waters on the 40-minute journey to Capri. Upon arrival, drive to the scenic town of Anacapri and soak up an hour to explore at your own pace and expense. Your guide will be happy to make suggestions for your free hour. Enjoy the option of a boat ride to the famed Blue Grotto, or travel to the top of Monte Solare via chairlift for panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. You can also stroll to the impressive Villa San Michele, built on ancient ruins, or more simply, relax at a café and people watch. Then, reunite with your guide at a local restaurant for a traditional 3-course lunch. Stretch your legs afterward with a guided walk to the Gardens of Augustus, where you'll spot the Faraglioni rock formations ...
Het was een leuke en mooie trip! De bootreis was een beetje chaotisch maar overal was alles erg goed!

I had always wanted to tick off one thing from my bucket list and that was ride a Vespa in the city of Naples. NapolinVespa Tour made this happen and they pulled it off effortlessly. Vincenzo was my guide and what can I say? He made it very personable! We soaked in the city discussing culture, history and how these aspects shaped the city... I recommend you take this excursion if you are serious and willing to learn! The Vespa itself was beautiful and I managed to get the typical postcard picture of myself with the beautiful vista of Naples behind me.. I recommend that you don't hesitate and book this. It will be very memorable...
Our guided tour has been such good fun! Our friendly guides met us at the hotel then took us on a great tour of lots of different parts of the city - all from the back of our vespas. We saw so much and really enjoyed being able to chat and also stop off for a superb coffee along the way. We visited some of the most famous sights but also had time to wander through the little alleys and side streets and see areas outside the city centre. Great!
This is by far the best tour we have done! Highly recommend it. Danilo and Gabriel, our drivers, were excellent. Best way to see Naples! I would do this trip again in a heartbeat. In a word - Amazing - and I can’t thank our two drivers enough. Well worth it!
Enzo was an excellent and kind guide. Very knowledgeable about his city. Our drivers Enzo and Luigi were awesome. They were friendly and easy to talk to. We appreciated this tour most of all we took while in Italy. Highly recommend this experience.
Unfortunately we only had 1 day in Naples, so we booked this tour to get an impression of the city. We didn't regret it, it was very impressive and informative. With the Vespa you can get everywhere, wind through the traffic jam.
