Take a guided tour of the historic Bahamian architecture in Downtown Nassau. Meet the staff for a short safety briefing, before you start exploring the points of interest like the Water Tower, Fort Fincastle, the Queen's Staircase, the Nassau Public Library/Former Prison, the Graycliff Restaurant and Hotel, the Bahamas Heritage Museum, and the National Art Gallery. You will also explore Fort Charlotte, Junkanoo Beach, Rawson's Square, the Governor General's House, and more. Following that, discover beautiful murals and photo opportunities as you cruise along colorful buildings of Bay Street. You will later be taken for a lunch break at a vibrant and energetic food spot called Arawak Cay, where at a nominal fee, you may purchase food and beverages unique to the islands of the Bahamas. Following lunch, stop at the Straw Market to admire the handiwork of local vendors, and at the conclusion of your experience, your guide will return you to your tour collection point.

At the next stop you will enjoy a thrilling panoramic view of the island from its highest point where the Fort Fincastle was erected to protect the city and harbor. You can peruse this area and shop at a local straw market. The sights and sounds at the 'Statue of Liberty of the Bahamas', The Queen's Staircase, will intrigue you as you learn more about the hard-working slaves who, when freed, chose to carve out the stairs in gratitude to the queen for their liberation. Next, you are in for a sweet treat, get ready to taste the best rum cake you have ever had. The sweet aroma of the Original Rum Cake Factory will greet you and the taste will be something to write home about. Finally, experience one of the modern eight wonders of the world with the largest hotel property in the Caribbean, Atlantis, at the end of your tour. It will be sad to say goodbye at the end of the tour, as this tour promises to be one that you would not forget, but hopefully you will be back again soon!

Yes, we went on the Tour & it was Wonderful! Sandy was very informative about the entire Island & the tour was very well organized. Tour guides were friendly and informative. Tour bus was not crowded (and was airconditioned). Places visited were interesting and food and drink samplings were good. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide- Jeremy- was excellent, very knowledgeable and attention to detail. We did all the stops as described, and enjoyed the company with others in the bus.
