As a solo female traveller, I wanted to see the Golden Triangle without sacrificing my safety - this tour was excellently organised and I felt safe with Rajesh the driver at all times. It's a long trek so be prepared for the drives. All my guides were lovely, informative and engaging. The hotels were fabulous and well organised. One note in retrospect, ask your guide to skip all the shopping stops in Jaipur and be quite firm, they're complete tourist traps with nothing genuine. Do your own research for places to shop if that's something you want but they're not worth it.

The driver and the assigned guides in each city were great. We did the 4 day Golden Triangle with 5* hotels. The company, Crystal Tours, is a huge company and they don't give you any personal service but the price was good. They don't reply to emails if you have any questions in advance. You will only have contact with them 24 hours before your trip. The hotels were nice but I'd do 4* instead. The hotel restaurants were expensive and there weren't other choices. I'd skip the palace in Jaipur. 700 INR and very little worth seeing. 4 days was too short for the amount of driving. I'd recommend 5 days. I honestly didn't like India. So dirty and so many beggars. Nepal was tons better.

This was honestly better than expected. Normally we travel independently but were didn't fancy driving in India so went with this option. We felt very safe with our driver for 4 days - Rajesh, a gentleman for whom nothing was too much trouble. Guides in each city were experienced and knowledgeable, and we were able to flex the itinerary to suit what we wanted to see. Would strongly recommend.
