Full description

Visit cultural landmarks and walk the streets of the Vieux Carre on this guided tour. Hear about the history of voodoo and ghost stories in New Orleans, and see where the Louisiana Purchase was signed, the famous St. Louis Cathedral, and other historical sites.

As you walk around New Orleans, find out where the most predictable ghosts and vampires lurk. Visit the most haunted house in the city and hear stories about voodoo, ghosts, and vampires.

Listen to your guide explain how the practice of voodoo came to New Orleans. Learn about Marie Laveau, the voodoo queen, and visit the property given to her as payment for her magic. You’ll also see locations where voodoo ceremonies were held.

Then, check out some of the French Quarter’s friendliest and most historic bars. This tour passes dozens of bars at every turn. Feel free to stop in and refill your cup.  Have a blast on this tour especially if you are a boozer, history buff, or paranormal enthusiast. Rewrite history by putting your own spin on some of New Orleans’ most talked about historical events and haunted locations.

If this is the case, the tour guide will wait outside by the door while the adults go inside to get refills on drinks.

This was a great tour! We did the 7pm walking tour on a Tuesday night, and it did not disappoint. It was a little confusing of when and how the tour would start, as our guide provided little information at the check-in spot, but once we started it was a great time. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the official history, local legends, and current must-sees of the area. We were captivated by his stories of the French Quarter, which he told in a very engaging but not overly-horrific/gruesome/keep-you-up-at-night way. He led us through the best bars of the area with the most well-known (and strongest) drinks of the quarter. A great experience overall— would highly recommend!

I went on this tour with my boyfriend. It was his first time in the city and my 5th. Who doesn’t love a tour that involves drinking at cool and historic bars along the way? The guide was informative, friendly and honest. The city is amazing and there is so much to see and learn. We learned about a lot of the buildings and some of the more sinister people that lived there hundreds of years ago. We had a blast! I enjoyed it so much, I’d book it again next time I’m in town.

Not only was our tour just all around amazing, but put guide Cody was awesome! Informative and fun. Would recommend! We also went the opposite way of most other tours going on so it was nice to not be following other large groups around! The American horror story house was awesome.
