10. Blue Mountains: Small Group Discovery Tour

Start your adventure by departing from Sydney.
Arrive at Kings Tableland and marvel at its panoramic lookout. Stop at Lincoln Rock for your first glimpse of the Jamison Valley.
Head to the lookouts at Wentworth Falls. Take an optional guided walk and experience the recently upgraded paths via weeping rock and the under-cliff walk. See the many tiers of Wentworth Falls as you walk along the ridgeline.
Next, choose between free time at Leura or Katoomba.
Leura offers fine boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. At Katoomba, see the Carrington Hotel which is the only 19th-century grand resort hotel still in use in New South Wales. Enjoy a warm open fire inside or explore the pergola overlooking Katoomba.

Next, enjoy free time at Scenic World or choose to visit the town of Blackheath.
Scenic World’s railway offers rides into Jamison Valley via funicular railway and across the valley via cable car. At the base of the valley, there are boardwalks through the abandoned coal mine. Scenic World may be booked in advance or the day of.
If going to Blackheath, discover the valley on the northern side of the pass. See the rugged beauty of Govett’s Leap and visit the town’s antique cafe or Ivanhoe Hotel.
Spend the rest of the afternoon at your own pace near Echo Point. Enjoy short walks, lookouts, visitor information, and refreshments. Get to see the Three Sisters rock formation in the afternoon sun.
At the end of your adventure, exit the Blue Mountains via Cliff Drive while enjoying views of the Megalong Valley. Make your way back to Sydney.
