From here, head to the 9/11 Memorial and gather around the Memorial Pools. Listen to your guide share detailed information about the monument and the design of the pools, as well as the architecture of the new World Trade Center and its symbolic use of materials, light, and reflections. Tour guide was knowledgeable and kept our group engaged with the tour components. He included his personal firsthand experiences and memories from that horrific day which further enhanced the tour experience. The allotted time for the guided tour was just right leaving us time to go inside the actual museum at the end of the guided tour.
