In remembrance of 9/11, this walking tour guides you through the former site of the World Trade Center, where the tragic events of 9/11 took place. The tour is guided by New Yorkers who have a personal connection to 9/11. Explore the 9/11 Memorial, where you can pay your respects to those who lost their lives. Visit St. Paul’s Chapel, a makeshift rescue center and tribute to the victims of one of history's darkest days. Hear stories from the emergency services at the Firefighter’s 9/11 Memorial, and see the Engine and Ladder Company 10/10, the fire station of Ground Zero. Your tour includes timed entry ticket to the 9/11 Museum. The entry time will scheduled for the end of your tour, but the entry time may vary depending on the day's availability.  The 9/11 Museum contains artifacts from the events of 9/11 and you can also listen to recordings from people who were there on that day. A sobering but up-lifting experience. So much hatred from the terrorists, but so much goodness & love from ordinary citizens; the dedication beyond the call of duty from the firefighters & the police. The marvel of St Paul’s Chapel, that tiny church surviving amidst all that horror. The exhibition gives thought & conveys the shock of that terrible day in 2001 without overwhelming the visitor. Such a beautiful, sunny autumn day & yet man used it & filled it with evil &hatred. The museum’s display takes me right back to the disbelief I felt here in England on hearing the news.

      Impressive ! Worth it !

Derek was an excellent guide, showed interesting places , eg specific memorials like American Express One. Nice guiding through oculus ! Worth it ! The visit to the museum on your own was impressive (on your own), but queue toooo long (45min at least). Perhaps fast track after the guided tour is a better option.

Kristen our guide was knowledgeable, sensitive and kept the 2 hour tour moving well. We bought the museum entry ticket as well but there is so much to see I wonder if we would have got more from that on another visit - a 2 hour walking tour plus the museum is quite a lot to take in. Both are definitely a must-do for NY though and we will never forget our visit.
