Full description
Meet your guide for a truly unforgettable experience in New York City, and immerse yourself in the culture of the "Big Apple" through the eyes of a local. Build an understanding about the origins and history of the complex city, and learn about the horrific events of September 11, 2001. Pass the Federal Hall National Memorial, built as the US Customer House on the site where George Washington was inaugurated. Stop at the New York Stock Exchange for a memorable photo opportunity, and then continue to Battery Park, originally built as a fort before it became an aquarium and eventually fell under the agency of the National Park Service. Pay tribute to the thousands of citizens and first responders who lost their lives on that fateful day in 2001 at the 9/11 Memorial. Gain an insight into the events from your guide's commentary, provided before the crowds arrive later in the day. Then, Climb aboard your boat at Pier 15 on the east side of New York City, and take a 60-minute boat ride to within 100 feet of the Statue of Liberty. Cruise right under the Brooklyn Bridge and see the most famous skyline in the world. Your live English guide will point out the sites as you journey along the river including the Empire State Building, the new Freedom Tower, the Manhattan Bridge, Governor's Island and more. Make use of both the indoor and outdoor seating, along with large open windows for your viewing pleasure. Get within touching distance of "Lady Liberty" and then move on to Ellis Island to take photos of the famous entry point to New York City. Marvel at the skyline of Manhattan and its famous skyscrapers, including the new One World Trade Center. Glide down both the east and west side of Lower Manhattan, and purchase drinks and food from the concession stand aboard the boat.  Option Two: Positioned on top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, on levels 100, 101, and 102 of the 1,776 foot tall One World Trade Center building, One World Observatory™ provides unique, panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters. Confusing to start with

We went to the meeting point and so did lots of other tourist. We waited and looked out for our tour guide who would be wearing yellow. No communication between the tour guide like a board with the company name. Or a shout out to all the crowds to ask what company you had booked through. So the tour starts and people walk off. I see a man in a grey cap and a yellow TShirt and a shirt over it so I went over to ask him. He said your tour are leaving now. So I complained that we never heard a thing or knew he was actually a tour guide. We joined the group. Apart from that the rest of the tour went well. We see what we wanted to see. The spectacular Statue of liberty.

Just want to say... We were left at the WTC by our tour guide after the walking tour. We were told to go to pier 16 or station island ferry and to get on the boat. That was wrong. After we walk to where she told us to go. Then we had to walk to PIER 36. This is not a short walk nor is it easy to find. We are VERY Disappointed in this. We barely made the cruise or would of had to wait in the cold an hour for the next cruise. Some sort of transportation needs to be provided. Or, be told how far this. A disappointed customer.
