Step back in time on an amazing tour of Liberty Island and the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park in Lower Manhattan. Walk through the park and discuss its significant history with your student guide as you make you way to the old military fort of Castle Clinton. Skip the long lines to take the ferry to Liberty Island, and then enter the pedestal of the statue on arrival. Visit the museum to learn more about the monument and get great views of Manhattan from the deck. Climb aboard another ferry and sail over to Ellis Island, where the first immigrants to arrive in New York in the 19th century were processed. Explore the museum and memorials to get an insight into how America was built on immigration from the Old World. Then, take the ferry back to Manhattan or choose to remain on Ellis Island to relax, eat or look up your family records.

We had Jerry as our guide and because the others cancelled, we (me, my boyfriend and inlaws) were the only ones so the tour was extremly good. Jerry showed us the best places for pictures, took pictures for us as Well and made the history about the statue of Liberty interesting for us without turning it into a boring history class. Will recommend Jerry for others who Considers statue of liberty tour.

Phenomenal: I wouldn’t do it any other way!

Wow, we are so glad we spent the extra money to take this tour. The guide made sure to give us all of the relevant and interesting stories and facts, but even more than that: they kept us on time, creating a really efficient experience. Doing it ourselves would be such a waste of time!

    Great!

We have had a fantastic morning with our guide Jerry. A kind, patient boy since we were going with a 7 year old boy who knows the area perfectly. He has taught us many fantastic facts about the Statue of Liberty and the Immigrant Museum. It has saved us a lot of time too, since we were going straight to the most emblematic places. Despite the weather, rain and wind especially, we have enjoyed both visits. Thank you very much Jerry!
